The Town of Northborough (hereinafter the "town") is committed to the enforcement of antidiscrimination laws and the promotion of fair housing and equal choice and equal access to housing for all persons regardless of race, color, national origin, ancestry, religion, sex, age or marital status. The town agrees to comply with the fair housing policy as follows:
A.
No person in the town shall be excluded from, be denied the benefits of or be subjected to discrimination under any housing program on the basis of race, color, national origin, ancestry, religion, sex, age or marital status.
B.
No person, real estate broker or salesman, corporate owner, lending institution, homebuilder or developer shall deny an individual any housing, accommodations, facilities, services, financial assistance or other benefits.
C.
No one shall provide a person housing, accommodations, facilities, services, financial assistance or other benefits which are different, or are provided in a different manner, from those which are provided to others.
D.
No one shall subject a person to segregation or separate treatment in relation to housing, accommodations, facilities, services, financial assistance or other benefits.
E.
No one shall in any way restrict a person from access to housing, accommodations, facilities, services, financial assistance or other benefits.
F.
No one shall treat a person differently from others in deciding whether or not this person satisfies any enrollment, occupancy, eligibility, admission, membership or other requirements which persons must meet in order to be provided any housing, accommodations, facilities, services, financial assistance or other benefits.
G.
No person shall be denied any opportunity to participate in any housing program through the provision of services or otherwise, or afford a person an opportunity to do so which is different from that afforded others.
