Property damage incurred by any citizen of Northborough as a result of work performed by a department of the town should be referred to the Administrative Officer.

No citizen shall be reimbursed any money for damages when action was taken by him to repair or replace the damaged property without having first notified the Administrative Officer and having allowed the town a reasonable period of time to correct the damage.
The Administrative Officer is authorized, on behalf of the Board of Selectmen, to expend an amount not to exceed $20 relative to any damage claim.
