A. 
Do not place brush out more than seven days prior to the date designated as the first day of brush pickup.
B. 
All brush must be out by 7:00 a.m. on the first day of the scheduled pickup date. There are four scheduled brush pickup dates during the year.
C. 
All brush must be cut in eight-foot lengths and small branches and twigs must be placed in containers of 30 gallons or less as to be easily handled and dumped.
D. 
All brush must be placed at the edge of curb or edge of road for pickup.
E. 
No brush from lot clearing will be picked up.
F. 
No stumps, limbs or branches larger than eight inches in diameter will be picked up.
G. 
Brush piles must not be placed as to interfere with moving vehicles and cannot be piled so high as to obstruct view of motorist of oncoming traffic.
H. 
Do not place brush piles near mail boxes, paper boxes, lawn ornaments, basketball hoops or cars.
I. 
No stones, dirt, fence material, toys, heavy plastics, building materials or shingles or any type of debris can be mixed your brush pile or it will not be picked up.
J. 
Any brush left behind by the Public Works Department must be removed within seven days of scheduled pickup date. If there is no Township Convenience Center cleanup days scheduled within the seven-day period, you must take your brush to the Cumberland County Improvement Authority and pay the tipping fees.
A. 
There is only one leaf pickup during the year. It is in the fall starting in November if leaves have fallen. There are five zones listed in the pickup.
B. 
Leaves will only be picked up during the fall months and the leaves must be placed at curbside in a row no wider than four feet.
C. 
Do not place leaves out more than seven days prior to your scheduled zone pickup date.
D. 
No bagged leaves will be picked up.
E. 
Do not place leaves inside of fenced areas, around mail or paper boxes, poles, along fences, trees, in front or back of cars or on hills at edge of road.
F. 
Make sure no dirt, stones, brush, fence material, plastics building materials, shingles or debris of any kind is mixed in or on top of leaves. The property owner will be held responsible for any damage caused to the leaf machine from items other than leaves.

G. 
Leaves left behind by the Public Works Department must be removed within seven days of scheduled pickup date. If there is no Township Convenience Center cleanup day scheduled within the seven-day period, you must take your leaves to the County Improvement Authority and pay the tipping fees.
H. 
During spring and summer months, property owners may bring bagged leaves to the Convenience Center and dump the bags.
I. 
No person shall dispose of, or arrange for the disposal of, any leaves or brush on any state, municipal or private property other than at the Convenience Center composting facility.
J. 
Any open-bodied vehicles or trailers carrying leaves, brush, trash or any other debris must be tarped. Any nontarped vehicle or trailer will not be allowed in the Convenience Center.

Violation of this chapter shall be punishable, upon conviction, by a fine not exceeding $2,000, imprisonment for a term not exceeding 90 days or a period of community service not exceeding 90 days, or any combination thereof.
