That a certain document, one (1) copy of which is on file in
the office of the City Clerk of the City of Ironton, Missouri, being
marked and designated as the International Building Code and Commentary,
2015 Edition, including Appendix Chapters Appendix D, Appendix E,
Appendix F, Appendix G, Appendix H, Appendix I, Appendix J (see International
Building Code Section 101.2.1, 2015 Edition), as published by the
International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the Building
Code of the City of Ironton, in the State of Missouri, for regulating
and governing the conditions and maintenance of all property, buildings
and structures; by providing the standards for supplied utilities
and facilities and other physical things and conditions essential
to ensure that structures are safe, sanitary and fit for occupation
and use; and the condemnation of buildings and structures unfit for
human occupancy and use and the demolition of such structures as herein
provided; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of
fees therefor; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties,
conditions and terms of said Building Code on file in the office of
the City Clerk are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof,
as if fully set out in this legislation, with the additions, insertions,
deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in Section 500-310 entitled
"Amendments to Code" of this Article.

A. The following Sections of the International Building Code and Commentary,
2015 Edition, are hereby revised as follows:

Section 101.1: City of Ironton, Missouri.
2.
Section 103.0: Enforcement.
3.
Section 103.1: The building official shall be the Mayor.
4.
Section 105.2: Delete Building: #2.
5.
Section 113.3: Qualifications is hereby deleted.
6.
Section 1612.3: City of Ironton, Missouri.
7.
Section 1612.3: August 2, 2012.
8.
Section 1809.5.1: The frost line of the locality shall be thirty
(30) inches.

Section H101.2: Delete #1.

A. Violation of this Article or the codes adopted herein shall be punishable
by a fine or by imprisonment in the County Jail in accordance with
the provisions of Chapters 479 and 79, RSMo. Each day any violation
of this Code or any such ordinance, rule, regulation or order shall
continue shall constitute, except where otherwise provided, a separate
ordinance violation.
B. Any person sentenced to imprisonment for violation of any provisions
of this Code or of any other ordinance of this City or of any rule,
regulation or order promulgated pursuant thereto and any person who
fails to pay a fine imposed for any such violation or the costs of
prosecution may be put to work and perform labor on the public streets
or other public works or buildings of the City for such purposes as
the City may deem necessary. For every ten dollars ($10.00) of an
assessed or unpaid fine, a prisoner shall work one (1) hour.
