The Town Board shall have the following duties with respect to this chapter:
A. 
Special use permit/site plan review.
(1) 
Applicability. The Town Board shall hear all requests for special use permits/site plan reviews for commercial projects involving over 5,000 square feet of floor space, residential projects involving more than five residential units, and Tier 3 and 4 solar projects.
(2) 
Special use permit/site plan review provisions.
(a) 
General provisions. The Town Board shall follow the process set out in Article VIII and Article IX of this chapter when hearing requests for special use permits and/or site plans. Additionally, the Town Board shall utilize the criteria set forth in said Articles when arriving at a decision on such requests.
