(a)
Adopted.
A certain document, two copies of which
are on file in the office of the city secretary, of the city, being
marked and designated as the International Swimming Pool and Spa Code
2021 edition as published by the International Code Council, be and
is hereby adopted as the swimming pool and spa code of the city, in
the state for regulating and governing the conditions and maintenance
of all swimming pools and spas; by providing the standards for supplied
utilities and facilities and other physical things and conditions
essential to ensure that structures are safe, sanitary and fit for
occupation and use; providing for the issuance of permits and collection
of fees therefor; and each and all of the regulations, provisions,
penalties, conditions and terms of said swimming pool and spa code,
on file in the office of the city secretary are hereby referred to,
adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this legislation,
with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed
in this section of this article.
(b)
Amendments.
The following sections are hereby
revised:
Section 101.1 Insert: City of Hereford,
Texas.
Section 101.2 Amend: The provisions of
this code shall apply to the construction, alteration, movement, renovation,
replacement, repair and maintenance of aquatic recreation facilities,
pools, and spas. The pools and spas covered by this code are either
permanent or temporary, over 18 inches deep, and are intended for
swimming, bathing or wading.

Section 108.2 Schedule of Permit Fees
Permit Fee $25.00
Section 113.4: is amended to provide that the penalty for the violation of this section shall be the penalty as provided in section 1.01.009 of the Code of Ordinances of the City.
