The city manager shall erect and maintain, or cause to be erected
and maintained, stop signs as provided in the
Vehicle Code of the
state as follows:
A. At
each and every street intersecting a through street as may be so designated
by ordinance or resolution of the city council;
B. At locations within intersections, other than designated in subsection
A of this section, where a stop sign is required on the basis of a traffic engineering study;
C. At
any railroad grade crossing where a stop sign is required on the basis
of a traffic engineering study.
