A violation of this Charter, or any ordinance of the City, shall
constitute an infraction. Any person violating any of such provisions
or failing to comply with any of the requirements of this Charter
or any ordinance of the City, shall be guilty of an infraction. Any
person convicted of an infraction under the provisions hereof shall
be punishable by (1) a fine not exceeding Fifty dollars for a first
violation; (2) a fine not exceeding $100 for a second violation of
the same ordinance within one year; and (3) a fine not exceeding $250
for each additional violation of the same ordinance within one year.
Each such person shall be guilty of a separate offense for each and
every day during any portion of which any violation of any provision
of this Charter or any City ordinance is committed, continued, or
permitted by such person and shall be punishable accordingly.
