The city council adopts a schedule of fees for filing and processing all statements and maps which must be filed with the State Board of Equalization pursuant to Government Code Sections 54900—54903, inclusive. Said schedule of fees shall be the schedule of fees adopted by the State Board of Equalization, and entitled "Schedule of Fees for Processing Statements and Maps filed Pursuant to Sections 54900—54903, of the Government Code," effective January 1, 1972, and said schedule of fees is incorporated herein as if fully set forth in this chapter.

The benefited property owners shall pay to the city treasurer the fees called for by this chapter at the time of filing any application encompassed within the provisions of Sections 54900—54903 of the Government Code.

Any revised schedule of fees for processing statement and maps pursuant to the Government Code which is hereafter adopted by the State Board of Equalization shall automatically supersede any existing schedule of fees called for by this chapter, and shall then become the schedule of fees to be paid pursuant to this chapter.
