The City Council, pursuant to Section 33200 of the Health and
Safety Code of the State, declares itself to be the redevelopment
agency of the City established by Section 33100 of the Health and
Safety Code of the State.

The agency created in Section
2.34.010 shall be known as the "Garden Grove Agency for Community Development," and hereinafter referred to as "the Agency."

Except as expressly provided in this chapter, the Agency shall
have all the rights, powers, duties, privileges, and immunities set
forth in the Community Redevelopment Law of the State.

The territorial limits of the Agency shall be in accordance
with the provisions of the Community Redevelopment Law of the State.

A. Pursuant
to the authorization of the
Health and Safety Code Sections 33114
and 33114.5, the City Council does hereby establish compensation for
members of the Garden Grove Agency for Community Development to be
at the rate of $30.00 per member for each meeting of the Agency attended
by the member.
B. No member
shall receive compensation for attending more than four meetings during
any calendar month.
C. In addition,
members shall receive their actual and necessary expenses incurred
in the discharge of their duties.
D. Provisions
contained in this section regarding the compensation of $30.00 per
meeting shall commence the first meeting of the Garden Grove Agency
for Community Development following the municipal election to be held
on April 8, 1980.
