A.
The Town Engineer may establish crosswalks at intersections and between intersections subject to the limitation contained in subsection B of this section.
B.
Other than crosswalks at intersections, crosswalks shall not be established in any block which is less than 400 feet in length, and such crosswalks as are established between intersections shall be located as nearly as practicable at midblock.
C.
The Town Engineer may install signs at or adjacent to an intersection directing that pedestrians shall not cross except in a crosswalk at the intersection.
