In this division, unless the context otherwise requires:
means the person applying for water service.
means the person receiving water service.
means the date upon which a bill or notice is mailed or delivered to the customer.
means the use of water for household purposes, including water used for lawns, gardens and shrubbery, and other similar purposes.
means the extension of distribution pipelines, exclusive of service connections, beyond existing facilities.
means the provision of water by measured quantities.
means the integral property of an area, including improvements thereon, to which water service is or will be provided.
means the body of rates, rentals, charges and rules, collectively, set forth in this division.
means the pipe, valves and other facilities by which water is conducted from a distribution main through the meter or service valve installed to serve the customer's premises.
means the Town's network of distribution valves, reservoirs, pipes, tanks and all appurtenances used in the distribution and supply of water.
refers to service for circuses, bazaars, fairs, construction work, irrigation of vacant property, and similar uses that due to its nature is of intermittent or nonpermanent use.
