A.
Discharge Of Fireworks Prohibited. No person shall discharge any
fireworks within the corporate city limits of the City of Wayland,
Missouri except from June 20 through July 10 of each year. Fireworks
may be discharged within the corporate city limits of the City of
Wayland from 12:00 Noon to 10:00 P.M. from June 20 through July 10
with the exception of the Fourth of July when the discharge of said
fireworks shall be authorized from 12:00 Noon until 12:00 Midnight.

A.
Fireworks License Required. No person, partnership, corporation,
or limited liability company shall sell any fireworks either at wholesale
or retail within the corporate city limits of the City of Wayland,
Missouri unless they have first obtained either a seasonal or year-round
permit issued by the City of Wayland, Missouri.
B.
Application For Fireworks Dealer License. Any person, partnership,
corporation or limited liability company which shall desire to sell
fireworks either at wholesale or retail subject to the provisions
of Chapter 320, RSMo., within the corporate city limits of the City
of Wayland shall first make application with the City Clerk for the
City of Wayland, Missouri, for a City permit before June 1 of each
year for either a twenty-day seasonal license for a fee of one hundred
dollars ($100.00), running June 20 to July 10 or a year around license
for a fee of two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) running June 1 to
June 1 of each year. No application for a temporary seasonal license
shall be accepted or considered after June 1.
C.
Penalty For Violations. Any person, convicted of violating this Section
shall be punished by a fine not exceeding one hundred dollars ($100.00)
and the cost of the action.
