The Council Chamber in the City Hall, 415 Diamond Street, Redondo Beach, California, is hereby fixed as the place for holding all meetings of the Council. Council meetings shall be held at the hour of 6:00 p.m. every first, second and third Tuesday of the month. The meeting on the second Tuesday of the month shall be primarily for the purposes of duly authorized Closed Sessions.

Pursuant to the provisions of Sections 6.1, 8.1 and 10.3 of the Charter of the City, a candidate for any municipal office of the City shall file with his nomination papers an affidavit, to be furnished by the City Clerk, stating therein that he meets the qualifications required by the Charter of the City to hold the office for which he is filing. The City Clerk shall require such affidavit as a condition to having the candidate's name placed on the ballot.

The Mayor and members of the Council and other elected City officials shall be entitled to reimbursements for the actual and necessary expenses incurred in the performance of their official duties and shall be subject to the provisions of Section 2-3.1301 of Article 13 of Chapter 3 of this title.
