City of Redondo Beach, CA Chapter 19 CREATION, ABOLITION AND REORGANIZATION OF CITY DEPARTMENTS AND APPOINTED POSITIONS

§ 2-19.01 Creation of Department of Recreation and Community Services and office of Director of Recreation and Community Services.

(a) The Department of Recreation and Parks and the Department of Community Services are hereby consolidated, and there is hereby created the Department of Recreation and Community Services.

(b) The Department of Recreation and Community Services shall consist of the following divisions:

Community Improvement and Facilities

Recreation Services

Sports and Playgrounds

Senior and Family Services

Housing Authority

Job Training Partnership Program

South Bay Juvenile Diversion

(c) There is hereby created the appointive position of Director of Recreation and Community Services.
