The principal objective and purpose to be served by this classification
and its application is to establish areas permitting horticultural
uses and by means of the standards and requirements set forth herein,
to maintain a desirable environment within the areas designated for
such uses.

In an H zone, the following uses only are permitted and as hereinafter specifically provided and allowed by this chapter, subject to the off-street parking requirements and the general provisions, conditions and exceptions set forth in Chapters
17.06 through
17.12 and
17.38 through 17.62:
A. Any
use permitted in an R-1 zone;
B. Planting,
seeding, fertilizing, watering, cultivating, and harvesting flowers,
plants, shrubs, bushes and trees;
C. Storing equipment and supplies used in connection with the use permitted in subsection
B of this section;
D. Greenhouses
and accessory buildings;
E. As an accessory to the uses permitted in subsection
B of this section, the wholesale and/or retail sale of only those flowers, plants, shrubs, bushes and trees actually produced on the premises. and related items.
