This Chapter establishes a loan program for the financing of
multifamily rental housing units by utilizing revenue bonds. Such
revenue bonds shall be authorized and issued pursuant to Sections
46-15.1 and 46-15.2 and Chapter 49, Hawai'i Revised Statutes.

The Housing Administrator of the Kaua'i County Housing
Agency is hereby authorized and directed, under and pursuant to and
upon compliance with Part II, Chapter 201E, Chapter 91 and Chapter
92, Hawai'i Revised Statutes, as amended, and the Charter of
the County of Kaua'i, to adopt from time to time rules and regulations
for the multifamily rental housing program for the County authorized
hereby. Said rules and regulations shall further the purposes of the
multifamily rental housing program of the County and consistent with
the purposes of Part II, Chapter 201E, Hawai'i Revised Statutes,
as amended, and of this ordinance. Such rules and regulations shall
have the force and effect of law. The Housing Administrator shall
file in the office of the County Clerk not less than four copies of
such rules and regulations.
