This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the "Administrative Code of the City of Hazleton, 1987."
As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
A majority of members of Council voting affirmatively at a meeting if a quorum is present.

Acquiescence or advice and approval of Hazleton City Council.

The City of Hazleton, Pennsylvania.
The City Council of the City of Hazleton, Pennsylvania.
That election required by the Constitution of Pennsylvania to be held in odd-numbered years.
A proposed law that is subject to the legislative process before it can become law. It is subject to the veto power of the Mayor.
Includes an individual, a partnership, an association and a corporation.
A formalized statement of an opinion or a decision. It expresses the sentiments of the Council and requires no approval of the executive branch.
