The zoning map of the city of Temecula, dated December 19, 1995, or as subsequently amended, and on file with the city clerk is herein adopted by reference and shall be an integral part of this development code.
(Ord. 95-16 § 2; Ord. 96-19 § 2(C))
Where uncertainty exists as to boundaries of any zone shown upon the zoning map, or any part thereof, the following provisions shall apply:
A.
Where boundaries are indicated as following lot lines or the right-of-way lines of highways, streets or alleys, such lines shall be construed to be the boundaries. Where boundaries are indicted as following the boundaries of a street, the zoning boundary line shall extend to the centerline of the street, unless otherwise specified.
B.
In the case of unsubdivided property where a zone boundary divides a lot, the location of such boundaries, unless the boundary is indicated by dimensions of legal description, shall be determined by use of the scale appearing on the zoning map.
C.
Where a public highway, street or alley, or any portion thereof, is officially vacated or abandoned, the area comprising such vacated highway, street, or alley shall acquire the zone classification of the property to which it reverts.
D.
Where boundaries are indicated as approximately following the centerline of watercourses, ridgelines or other geographic features, the boundary locations shall be determined by the director of public works/city engineer.
