This chapter shall be known and may be cited and referred to
as the "Electrical Code for the City of Sunnyvale."

The 2022 National Electrical Code in its entirety as published
by the National Fire Protection Association and amendments to sections
of the 2022 National Electrical Code adopted by the State Building
Standards Commission in California Code of Regulations (CCR) Title
24, Part 3 known as the 2022 California Electrical Code, is hereby
adopted by reference, with changes and modifications as hereinafter
set forth, as the electrical code of the city of Sunnyvale.

2022 California Electrical Code Section 89.101 is hereby amended
as follows:
2022 California Electrical Code Section 89.101 is hereby replaced by the applicable provisions of Chapter 16.16.
