The persons holding the offices and employments in the city
hereinafter described shall file with the city clerk of the city fidelity
bonds in the amounts set opposite their respective positions; provided
that the city clerk shall file his or her bond or bonds with the city
finance director (treasurer):

The premiums upon the bonds of the above persons shall be a
charge against and shall be paid by the city.
