There is established a library board of the city.

The library board shall consist of five members appointed by the city council for overlapping four-year terms. No member shall serve more than two consecutive terms.

Serves as community liaisons/advocates for library programs and services.

Reviews policies and procedures as presented by city library staff.

Represents the library at city-sponsored functions.
