Service of any notice authorized or directed by or on behalf
of the Water Department may be made upon the owner or consumer personally
or by leaving the same at the premises where water is supplied or
by sending the same by mail to such party at the last address furnished
to the Water Department.
The water supply of any person or corporation may be cut off
by the Water Department unless all water charges shall be paid within
60 days from the date due.
A violation of the provisions of §§ 120-14 to 120-54, inclusive, of this chapter shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed $500 for each offense or by imprisonment not to exceed 10 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. In addition thereto, the supply of water may be cut off by the Water Department as provided in §§ 120-53 and 120-54 of these water rules and regulations. In addition to any other applicable penalty, a surcharge will be added to an owner's account balance each quarter that a violation of any provision of this chapter is outstanding. The amount of the surcharge will be established, from time to time, by resolution of the Board of Trustees.
