"In the City"
means and include all territory over which the City now has,
or shall hereafter acquire jurisdiction for the execution of its policy
powers or other regulatory powers.
"Gender."
The masculine gender includes the feminine and neuter.
"Number."
The singular number includes the plural and the plural the
singular.
"Official time."
Whenever certain hours are named herein, they shall be construed
to mean Pacific Standard Time or Daylight Savings Time, whichever
may be in current use in the City.
"Or, and." "or"
may be read "and," "and" may be read
"or," if the sense requires it.
"Owner"
shall include any part owner, joint owner, tenant in common,
tenant in partnership, or joint tenant.
"Person"
includes any person, firm, association, corporation, organization
or partnership.
"Social function"
means any formal or informal party or assemblage of two or
more persons not in violation of any law or injurious to the health
or well being of the participants, designed to promote the pleasure
and welfare of the participants.
"Tenant or occupant,"
applied to a building or land, shall include any person holding
a written or oral lease of or who occupies the whole or a part of
such building or land either alone or with others.

It is unlawful for any minor under the age of 18 years to be
or appear upon any street, road, highway, private road, or the land
of any person without his or her written consent, or in any place
open to the public in the City between the hours of 10:30 p.m. and
6:00 a.m., however, provided that a minor under the age of 18 years
may be upon the streets, roads or highway or in any place open to
the public in the City between the hours of 10:30 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
under any of the following conditions:
A. When
such a minor is in the company of his or her parent or legal guardian
or person having the legal care, custody and control of such minor.
B. When
such minor is in the act of returning to the home of his or her parent,
legal guardian or person having the legal care, custody, and control
of such minor, from any licensed moving picture theatre or any social
or religious function or from social or athletic functions connected
with, sponsored and sanctioned by whatever educational institution
said minor may be attending.

It is unlawful for any parent, guardian, or other person lawfully entitled to the care, custody, or control of any minor under the age of 18 years to knowingly suffer or permit such minor to be at large or upon any street, road or highway, upon the land of any person without the written consent of such person, or in any place open to the public in the City of Plymouth within the meaning of Section
9.02.020 of this chapter.

It is unlawful for any person to associate or meet with, or be in the company of any minor under 18 years of age when such minor is upon any street, road, highway, private road or the land of any person without the owner's consent, or in any place open to the public in the City between the hours of 10:30 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., in violation of the provisions of Section
9.02.020.

It is unlawful for the owner of any place open to the public
in the City, or his or her manager, agent, or employee to suffer or
permit any minor under the age of 18 years to be in such place of
business between the hours of 10:30 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. in violation
of any provision of this chapter.

A. Any
minor under the age of 18 years who violates any of the provisions
of this chapter shall be cited by any peace officer of the City to
appear upon a date specified before the Probation Officer of Amador
County to be dealt with according to law.
B. Any
person who violates any of the provisions of this chapter shall be
deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.
