Subdivider shall improve all streets, highways, or public ways in the subdivision. Improvements shall be installed to permanent line and grade and to the satisfaction of the City Engineer, in accordance with the City improvement standards, and State and Federal law, including, but not limited to, the Americans with Disabilities Act.
A. All utility distribution facilities (including, but not limited to, electric, communication, and cable television lines) installed in and for the purpose of supplying service to any residential (or commercial) subdivision shall be placed underground except as follows:
1. Equipment appurtenant to underground facilities, such as surface mounted transformers, pedestal mounted terminal boxes and meter cabinets, and concealed ducts;
2. Poles supporting only high voltage wires, switches, transformers, or street lights.
B. The subdivider is responsible for complying with the requirements of this chapter, and shall make the necessary arrangements with utility companies involved for the installation of said facilities. City may defer subdivider's obligation to install improvements provided subdivider executes an improvement agreement with the City Council.
