No building or improvement of any kind shall be constructed on either side of the arterial highways as they exist within the city as of or after the adoption of the ordinance codified in this chapter, closer to the centerline of those arterial highways than shown on the following schedule:

In addition to the setbacks required by the schedule set out in Section 12.40.010, it shall also be required that any buildings or improvement shall set back the normal required front or side yard as provided under Title 18 of this code.
