Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, the provisions of Article 2 of Chapter 13 of Division 3 of Title 4 of the California Government Code, commencing with Section 39560, as amended through January 1, 1988, are adopted and made a part of this chapter as if fully set out in this chapter. Said adoption of this reference is made pursuant to Article 2 of Chapter 1 of Part 1 of Division 1 of Title 5 of the California Government Code, commencing with Section 50020, and in particular commencing with Section 50022.1, and publishing and the availability of reference copies shall be done pursuant to those provisions.

A.
"Superintendent"
shall include the City Manager or designee, pursuant to Government
Code Section 39560(a).
B.
The
mailed notice provision of Section 39567.1 of the Government Code,
described in that code as an alternative to the posting of notice
pursuant to Sections 39564 through 39567, inclusive, are made mandatory
such that notice shall be both posted and mailed.
C.
"Legislative
body," as used in the sections adopted by reference, shall mean the
City Council.

The maintenance of premises so as to constitute a nuisance under the terms of this chapter is declared to be a violation of this code punishable as described in Chapter 1.12 of this code.
