There are adopted by the City Council of the City, for the purpose of prescribing regulation governing conditions hazardous to life and property from infectious and medical wastes, and establishing fees for permits, the following provisions of that certain code known as the San Diego County Code of Regulatory Ordinances, Chapter 12 of Division 8 of Title 6: Sections 68.1201 through 68.1211 inclusive, Section 68.501 subsection (16), Sections 68.504 and 65.107h(7), relating to the regulation of the storage and disposal of medical wastes, and related fees. Not less than three copies of said adopted county regulations have been and now are filed in the office of the City Clerk of the City, and the same are adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length in this chapter, and from the date on which the ordinance codified in this chapter takes effect, the provisions of this chapter shall be controlling within the limits of the City.

Violation of any of the provisions of this chapter is a misdemeanor punishable as provided in Chapter 1.12 of this code.
