As used in this chapter, the term skate park means any facility owned and operated by the city of Buena Park that is designed and maintained for the purpose of recreational skateboard, in-line skate and/or roller skate use and which is identified by one or more signs as a skate park owned and operated by the city of Buena Park.

Any person riding, propelling, or using a skateboard, in-line skates or roller skates, or who is a passenger on a skateboard, in any skate park, shall wear, at all such times, a helmet that satisfies the requirements of California Vehicle Code § 21212, and properly functioning elbow pads and knee pads.

It is unlawful for any person to ride, propel oneself, or otherwise utilize, within any skate park, any wheeled device other than a skateboard, in-line skates or roller skates. Every person utilizing a skate park shall comply with all posted rules.

Any person violating any provision of this chapter shall be guilty of an infraction which shall be punishable in accordance with the provisions of Section 1.04.020 of this code.
