Except as hereinafter provided in Chapter 16.04, the 2025 California Fire Code, incorporating the International Fire Code, 2024 Edition, including all appendices, together with certain amendments, deletions, additions, and penalties, is hereby adopted by reference for the purpose of prescribing regulations governing conditions hazardous to life and property and protecting the same from fire or explosion, save and except such portions as are hereinafter added, deleted, modified or amended. Said Code shall be referred to as the fire code of the city of Buena Park.
