This chapter was suspended by Ordinance 1303 of the City under the provisions of Chapter 963 of the Revenue and Taxation Code of the State providing for allocation of State cigarette tax revenues. Ordinance 1248 of the City which provided for a City cigarette tax is suspended until such time as the allocation of State cigarette tax revenues are for any reason declared invalid, then and in that event the provisions of Ordinance 1248 shall not be deemed to have been suspended and will be in full force and effect.
