No driver of a vehicle shall drive between vehicles comprising a funeral procession while they are in motion and when the vehicles in such processions are conspicuously so designated.

Unless otherwise expressly allowed by another provision of this title or other applicable law, no person shall drive a vehicle within any sidewalk area or parkway except at a permanent or temporary driveway. This section shall not apply to vehicles owned by the city of Palm Springs and used in the course and scope of official duties.

No person shall ride or drive any animal or any vehicle over or across any newly made pavement or freshly painted marking in any street when a barrier or sign is in place warning persons not to drive over or across such pavement or marking, or when a sign is in place stating that the street or any portion thereof is closed.

No person shall drive, operate, tow or otherwise move any motor vehicle, equipped with rims to accommodate rubber tires, over or across any street in this city with tires removed or deflated so that the metal flanges or rims are in contact with the pavement, except to the nearest edge of the pavement from the point any such condition occurs through accident.

No person shall operate a vehicle on a street or alley in such a manner as to facilitate its speed by means of leaving rear wheel frictional rubber marks, caused by rapid acceleration.
