§ 12.30.1410 Existence of Blighted Areas and Need Declared.

The City Council hereby finds and declares that there exist within the City "blighted areas" as that term is defined and used in ORS Chapter 457, and that a need exists for an Urban Renewal Agency to function within the City.

§ 12.30.1420 Council Functions as Urban Renewal Agency.

The City Council elects to have the powers of an Urban Renewal Agency exercised by the City Council itself and the Council, acting in its capacity as an Urban Renewal Agency shall be known as the "Lake Oswego Redevelopment Agency (LORA)."

§ 12.30.1430 Agency Bylaws, Rules.

LORA shall, by resolution of the agency, establish such bylaws and other rules of procedure as it deems necessary or proper to carry out its lawful duties.
