There is established a Wastewater Division of the Public Works Department, and rules and regulations concerning the Atascadero wastewater disposal facilities. These regulations are established and adopted to protect and promote the public health, safety and welfare, pursuant to authority of California Health and Safety Code Sections 5470 through 5474.10.

The provisions of this title shall apply to any person, or persons, including corporations, and others connected to the Atascadero wastewater disposal facilities.

Any person violating any provisions of this title shall be liable to the City for all damages to City property, and/or fines levied resulting therefrom. A violation of any provision of this title is a misdemeanor. Penalties for violation of this title shall be as set forth in Chapter 3 of Title 1 of this code.
