A seven member Township Planning Commission is hereby created and established for the Township of Colebrookdale, Berks County, Pennsylvania.
The members of the Colebrookdale Township Planning Commission shall be appointed by the Commissioners of the Township of Colebrookdale for terms of four years, except that the terms of the four new members to be newly appointed hereunder shall be so fixed that one member shall be appointed for one year, one for two years, one for three years, and one for four years; and annually thereafter all members of said Commission shall be appointed for a term of four years. All members of the existent Township Planning Commission shall serve until the expiration of their present terms and thereupon the member or newly appointed member shall serve for a term of four years.
The Colebrookdale Township Planning Commission shall perform all the duties and may exercise all the powers conferred upon planning commissions in townships of the first class by the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code.[1]
