The City of Lompoc landfill has been established for the disposal of solid waste by the residents and businesses of the Lompoc Valley, as provided in the permit issued by the California Integrated Waste Management Board.

The landfill shall be under the administration of the Director, which shall place a person in physical charge thereof, to be known as the operator. The Director shall have power to establish rules and regulations as are reasonably necessary and convenient to maintain the public health and safety at such site.
