Effective January 1, 2025, each member of the City Council of the City of Union City shall receive as salary, the sum of two thousand one hundred and twenty-five dollars per month pursuant to the provisions of Government Code Section 36516.5. Effective January 1, 2025, the Mayor shall receive a salary in the amount of two thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven dollars per month pursuant to Section 36516.5. Until January 1, 2025, the Mayoral and Councilmember salaries that became effective December 1, 2008 shall remain in effect.
