Chapter 2.16 PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT

§ 2.16.010 Composition.

The public safety department shall be composed of the divisions enumerated in Sections 2.16.020 and 2.16.030.

§ 2.16.020 Police department—Chief of police generally. [1]

The chief of police for the purposes of this chapter, shall be the head of the police department. The chief of police shall be an officer of the city.

§ 2.16.030 Fire department—Fire chief generally. [1]

The fire chief for the purposes of this chapter, shall be the head of the fire department. The fire chief shall be an officer of the city.
