When authorized signs are in place giving notice thereof, drivers
of vehicles shall stop at the entrance or entrances of street intersections
of any street designated by the Council by ordinance or resolution
as a through street.

When authorized signs are in place giving notice thereof, drivers
of vehicles shall yield right-of-way, as defined in Sections 21356,
21800 and 21803 of the State
Vehicle Code, when approaching the entrance
or entrances of any intersection designated by the Council by ordinance
or resolution as a yield right-of-way intersection.

The driver of a vehicle emerging from an alley, driveway or
building shall stop such vehicle immediately prior to driving onto
a sidewalk or into a sidewalk area extending across any alley or driveway.

A. The
Traffic Engineer is authorized to determine those intersections at
which drivers of vehicles shall not make a right, left or U-turn and
shall place proper signs at such intersections. The making of such
turns may be prohibited between certain hours of any day and permitted
at other hours, in which event the same shall be plainly indicated
in the signs or they may be removed when such turns are permitted.
B. Whenever
authorized signs are erected indicating that no right or left or U-turn
is permitted, no driver of a vehicle shall disobey the directions
of any such sign.

In accordance with the provisions of Sections
10.16.010 through
10.16.030, whenever any ordinance or resolution of this city designates and describes any street or portion thereof as a through street or any intersection at which vehicles are required to stop or yield right-of-way at one or more entrances thereto, or any grade crossing at which vehicles are required to stop, the Traffic Engineer shall erect and maintain stop signs and yield right-of-way signs on those streets affected by such ordinance or resolution. Every such sign shall conform with and shall be placed as provided in Sections 21350 through 21356 of the State
Vehicle Code.
