A. 
Any person violating any of the provisions (by omission or commission) of any regulatory ordinance of the city, except in case(s) where a different penalty or remedy is specifically provided for, shall be subject to a civil penalty of not less than $150 nor more than $2,500 plus assessments.
B. 
A violation shall be deemed to exist separately for each and every day during which a violation exists.

In the event the city brings an action in its name in either law or equity in any of the courts of this state other than its municipal court for the enforcement of any of its ordinances, resolutions or any right(s) afforded it by its charter or state statute, the city shall be entitled to the award of its reasonable attorneys fees as well as other professional fees incurred in the prosecution of the case in the event it is the prevailing party.
