The property manager or owner of any private property may order any vehicle removed from private property under California Vehicle Code §22658(a) if signs have been posted at each vehicular entrance. The size and location of the signs shall be approved by the police department before installation. All signs shall contain the following information:

Any vehicle removed shall be removed to the nearest public garage.

It is unlawful to tow a vehicle under the provisions of California Vehicle Code §22658(a), or at a property owner or manager's request, unless the property is posted as required by Section 10.82.010.
