(a)
Water
supply and distribution.
All subdivisions shall be provided
with water supply and water distribution systems approved by the city
engineer in accordance with article V, division 4 of this chapter.
(b)
Fire
hydrants.
Standard fire hydrants shall be installed as
part of the water distribution system per specifications of the State
Board of Insurance and in accordance with article V, division 4 of
this chapter.

All subdivisions shall be provided with an approved sewage disposal
system approved by the city engineer in accordance with article V,
division 5 of this chapter.

All utility lines that pass under a street or alley shall be
installed before the street or alley is paved. When it is necessary
that utility lines pass under the street or alley pavement, they shall
be installed to a point at least three feet beyond the edge of the
pavement.
