The O-H district is intended for areas which:
(1)
Have a special character or historical value;
(2)
Have been designated as an historic district by any local, state or federal agency; or
(3)
Have a special archaeological or prehistoric significance.
It is intended to provide protection for these historic, prehistoric or archaeological resources, which, in the absence of such protection, may be irretrievably lost to the citizens of the county, the state and the nation. Also, the O-H district is intended to provide for the display, study and research of such resource areas. |
