§ 9.32.010 Carrying Concealed Weapons—Prohibited Without Permit.

No person except a Police Officer shall carry upon their person any revolver, pistol or other instrument or weapon, commonly known as a concealed weapon, without a written permit in compliance with Penal Code Section 261.50.

§ 9.32.020 Discharge of Firearms Unlawful.

No person shall discharge or set off any gun, rifle, pistol, or other firearm or any airgun or other contrivance discharging shots, slugs, darts, arrows, or other missiles likely to endanger life or property within the City.

§ 9.32.030 Discharge of Firearms—Exceptions.

The provisions of Section 9.32.020 shall not apply to any peace officer or person summoned to aid and discharge any official duty where such act is necessary for the protection of human life or property or otherwise permitted by law.
