The county of Placer does establish by this part a procedure for the establishment of civil penalties, fines, fees and charges for parking and related violations pursuant to California Vehicle Code Section 40200 et seq.
A. 
It is the intention of the board of supervisors of Placer County to exercise its full authority specified in California Vehicle Code Section 40203.5(a), by providing a procedure for the establishment of a schedule of penalties for parking and related violations, late payment penalties, administrative fees and other related charges for parking and related violations under the California Vehicle Code, the Placer County Code or under any federal statute or regulation.
B. 
Subject to any limitations imposed by state law, the board of supervisors shall by resolution establish penalties, fines, fees and related charges for parking and related violations, late payment violations, administrative fees and any other charges related to the administration of the provisions of California Vehicle Code Section 40200 et seq.

A. 
Notwithstanding any other provision of this article, any person violating or failing to comply with the provisions of Section 12.04.110, 10.12.020(B), 10.12.030(B), 10.12.070, 10.12.090, 10.12.100, 10.12.120, 10.12.130, 10.12.280, 10.12.290, 10.12.300, 10.16.010, or 10.124.290 of this chapter shall be subject to civil penalties, fees, or charges and procedures as set forth in the resolution adopted by the board of supervisors pursuant to Section 10.12.190 of this article.
B. 
Civil Penalties. Any violation of sections identified in subsection A of this section shall be punishable by a fine with escalating first, second, third and subsequent fine amounts as established in the current fine schedule.
