To establish guidelines and procedures for the recruitment and
hiring of employees for the Warsaw, Missouri, Police Department.

Every position requires specific knowledge, skills, and abilities
to successfully perform the duties of that position. The Warsaw Police
Department will recruit and hire quality personnel for the benefit
of the agency and community, regardless of race, color, national origin,

Applicants must pass the selection process in order to be considered
eligible for appointment to the Lateral Hire Program.

Upon successful completion of the selection procedure, and you
have been hired by the City of Warsaw, you will be required to participate
in the Field Training Program.

Once you successfully complete the Field Training Program you
will be assigned to a patrol shift. A six (6) month probationary period
starts at hire date.
