Except as otherwise amended in this chapter or Chapter 8.08 of this title, county Ordinance No. 7583, as amended, effective September 14, 1973, entitled "Los Angeles County Health Code," as published in that certain book entitled "Public Health Code, County of Los Angeles," is adopted, and the same shall become the health code of the city. Three copies of such county ordinance and health code are on deposit in the office of the city clerk and shall be at all times maintained by the city clerk for use and examination by the public. References to section numbers and amendments of the city health code are declared to be references to the section numbers contained in such volume of the county public health code.
