The 2025 California Residential Code, Title 24, Part 2.5 of the
California Code of Regulations, a portion of the California Building Standards Code as defined in the California State Health and Safety Code Sections
17922 and
18901 et seq. (hereinafter referred to as the Residential Code), and any rules and regulations promulgated pursuant thereto and as defined in California Health and Safety Code Section
18938.3, including Residential Code Appendix AH (Patio Covers), Appendix AJ (Existing Buildings and Structures), Appendix BB (Tiny Houses), BF (Patio Covers), BG (Sound Transmission), BH (Automatic Vehicular Gates), BO (Existing Buildings and Structures), CI (Swimming Pool Safety Act), CJ (Emergency Housing), and CK (Areas Protected by the Facilities of the Central Valley Flood Protection Plan) are hereby adopted and incorporated by reference herein. Except as otherwise provided by this chapter and Chapters
15.04 and
15.08 of the Stockton Municipal Code, all construction, alteration, moving, demolition, repairs, and use of any building or structure within this jurisdiction shall be made in conformance with the Residential Code and any rules and regulations promulgated pursuant thereto.
