(a)
No question in any examination in any application for, or any other Human Resources proceeding, or of any appointing authority, shall be so framed as to attempt to elicit information regarding race, religion, color, national origin, ancestry, disability, marital status, pregnancy, medical condition, gender, sexual orientation, or political opinions or affiliation of an applicant, eligible or employee, except as required by law.
(b)
No appointment to or removal from a position in the competitive service shall be affected or influenced in any manner by race, religion, color, national origin, ancestry, disability, marital status, pregnancy, medical condition, gender, sexual orientation, or political opinions or affiliation, except as required by law.
(c)
No Human Resources proceeding or any appointing authority shall discriminate in any aspect of employment because of race, religion, color, national origin, ancestry, disability, marital status, pregnancy, medical condition, gender, sexual orientation, or political opinions or affiliation, or any nonmerit employment action.
