When signs are erected giving notice thereof, the following streets or portions of streets are declared to be truck traffic routes for the movement of vehicles exceeding a maximum gross weight of three tons:
(1) 
Allen Avenue, between Lone Hill Avenue on the west and Interstate Route 210 on the east;
(2) 
Alosta Avenue, from city limits to city limits;
(3) 
Arrow Highway, from city limits to city limits;
(4) 
Baseline Road, between the city limits on the west and Glendora Avenue on the east;
(5) 
Foothill Boulevard, between the city limits on the west and Glendora Avenue on the east;
(6) 
Foothill Boulevard, between Amelia Avenue on the west and the city limits on the east;
(7) 
Glendora Avenue, between Foothill Boulevard on the north and Baseline Road on the south;
(8) 
Grand Avenue, between Foothill Boulevard on the north and the city limits on the south;
(9) 
Lone Hill Avenue, between Alosta Avenue on the north and the city limits on the south;
(10) 
Sunflower Avenue, between Interstate Route 210 on the north and the city limits on the south.

Whenever this title or any ordinance of the city designates and describes any street or portion thereof as a street, the use of which is permitted by any vehicle exceeding a maximum gross weight limit of three tons, the city engineer is authorized to designate such street or streets by appropriate signs as "Truck Traffic Routes" for the movement of vehicles exceeding a maximum gross weight limit of three tons.

(a) 
When truck traffic routes are established and designated by appropriate signs as provided in Sections 10.32.010 and 10.32.020, the operator of any vehicle exceeding a maximum gross weight limit of three tons shall drive on such route and none other; except that nothing in this section shall prohibit the operator of any vehicle exceeding a maximum gross weight of three tons coming from a truck traffic route having ingress and egress by direct route to and from restricted streets when necessary for the purpose of making pickups or deliveries of goods, wares and merchandise from or to any building or structure located on such restricted streets or for the purpose of delivering materials to be used in the actual and bona fide repair, alteration, remodeling or construction of any building or structure upon such restricted streets for which a building permit has previously been obtained therefor.
(b) 
The provisions of this section shall not apply to:
(1) 
Passenger buses under the jurisdiction of the Public Utilities Commission; or
(2) 
Any vehicle owned by a public utility while necessarily in use in the construction, installation, maintenance or repair of public utilities; or
(3) 
Any vehicle owned and operated by a public agency.
(c) 
Every person who violates any provision of this section is guilty of an infraction, unless the violation is otherwise made a misdemeanor pursuant to Section 1.01.110(b).

(a) 
Whenever this code or any other ordinance of the city designates and describes any street or portion thereof as a street, the use of which is prohibited by any commercial vehicle, the city engineer shall erect and maintain appropriate signs on those streets affected by such ordinance.
(b) 
When signs are erected as provided in this chapter, no driver of a commercial vehicle shall disobey the direction of such sign; except that nothing in this section shall prohibit the operator of any vehicle coming from a truck traffic route having ingress and egress by direct route to and from restricted streets when necessary for the purpose of making pickups or deliveries of goods, wares and merchandise from or to any building or structure located on such restricted streets or for the purpose of delivering materials to be used in the actual and bona fide repair, alteration, remodeling or construction of any building or structure upon such restricted streets for which a building permit has previously been obtained therefor.
